Install in four moves

  1. Switch to Desktop

    Hold the power button, then pick Switch to Desktop.

  2. Grab the app

    Open a browser (no browser yet? Get Firefox from Discover), come back to tav.gg/steamdeck and hit Download for Steam Deck.

  3. Make it playable

    In Dolphin, right-click the file in Downloads, open Properties > Permissions and tick Is executable.

  4. Launch it

    Double-click it and sign in. Your crew is waiting.

  • Typing? Press STEAM + X to pop up the on-screen keyboard.
  • Done for now? Double-click Return to Gaming Mode on the desktop to get back to your games.
  • Terminal fan? chmod +x ~/Downloads/Taverns-x86_64.AppImage in Konsole does move three.
