• Report sends the selected content and relevant context for review.
• Block prevents direct interaction with that account.
• Mute hides notifications or content without notifying the other person.

Keep the reference ID shown after a report. It helps support locate the case. Blocking is immediate, and a report does not automatically tell the reported person who submitted it.

• Use a unique password and never share login or verification codes.
• Review active sessions and connected accounts in Security settings.
• Do not open unexpected files or links, even when they appear to come from a friend.
• Use Privacy settings to limit direct messages, activity visibility, and sensitive content.

Taverns is not an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. In the United States, call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. Reports involving child sexual exploitation can be made to the NCMEC CyberTipline.
