Can you customize how a Discord server looks?
A little: Discord lets you set a server icon, role colors and custom emoji, while full Server Themes are an experiment for select servers that costs 3 Boosts, and personal color themes are a Nitro perk.
On Taverns, theming is part of every tavern and costs nothing. Owners pick a background for chat and the member list, colors for text, halls, buttons and the message box, up to five fonts (Google Fonts or your own upload) and an icon for every hall. Members style their own profiles with name colors, fonts, effects and avatar decorations. Hit publish and everyone in the tavern sees it right away.

Can you customize a Discord server for free?
Partly. A Discord server can set its icon, role colors and up to 100 custom emoji without paying. Server Themes are an experiment for select servers that costs 3 Boosts, and personal app color themes need Nitro. On Taverns, every tavern can set its own background, colors, fonts and hall icons for free.
Is theming free on Taverns?
Yes. Anyone with the Manage Tavern permission can theme a tavern at no cost, and every member can style their own profile. Optional extras are bought with Prisma, the in-app currency, but you never need them to theme a tavern.
Can I use my own font on Taverns?
Yes. Each tavern has five font slots, for the tavern name, categories, hall names, usernames and messages. Pick a Google Font or upload your own.
Will a custom theme make my tavern hard to read?
It should not. The editor shows a live preview before you publish, backgrounds have overlay and blur controls to keep text readable, and themes only change the tavern itself, never the app’s own buttons and menus.
