Taverns Trust and Safety
Community Guidelines
Taverns is a place to build, chat, and play together. These guidelines apply to profiles, messages, posts, Taverns communities, Wonders, voice features, uploads, and every other part of the service.

Be safe and lawful
Do not create, share, request, promote, or facilitate:
- child sexual abuse or exploitation, grooming, or sexualization of minors;
- credible threats, terrorism, violent extremism, or instructions to cause serious harm;
- non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual exploitation, or coercion;
- illegal goods, fraud, malware, phishing, or attempts to compromise another account;
- doxxing or disclosure of another person's private information without permission;
- content that infringes intellectual-property or other legal rights.
Treat people with respect
Harassment, bullying, stalking, hateful conduct, targeted abuse, impersonation, spam, and coordinated disruption are not allowed. Do not evade a block or moderation action by creating another account or community.
Label mature content honestly
Creators must answer content-rating questions accurately and keep titles, descriptions, thumbnails, and previews suitable for the audience shown. Content may not exceed its displayed maturity rating. Sexual content involving minors is never allowed.
Run your Tavern responsibly
A Tavern belongs to the person who created it. Tavern owners and the moderators they appoint run their community and are responsible for what happens in it: setting rules, choosing trustworthy moderators, rating content honestly, and removing content or members that break these guidelines or the law. MEKASMITH hosts the platform; it does not run your community for you. The Terms and Conditions set out this responsibility in full.
A Tavern that is not moderated, or that hosts, organizes, or tolerates violations, may be unlisted, locked, transferred, or removed as a whole, and its owner and moderators may lose their accounts. The same applies to a Wonder and its creator, and to a bot and its developer.
How enforcement works
We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Content is screened by automated filters and by people, every message, post, profile, and Wonder can be reported (to report a whole Tavern, report its owner or a message in it), and any account can be blocked or muted. We aim to act on a report of objectionable content within 24 hours; when we find a violation we remove the content and remove or restrict the user who provided it.
We may remove or restrict content, limit features, suspend or terminate accounts, and preserve or disclose information when required for safety or law. We consider context, severity, history, and the risk of continued harm. When available, an affected user may appeal through our appeals process.
Report a violation
Use the Report action beside the message, post, profile, or Wonder so the relevant item and context reach the moderation queue. You can also email report@tav.gg. For immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
See the Safety Center for blocking, privacy, and urgent-help options, or the Help Center safety guide for step-by-step reporting help.
