How do I join a tavern?
Open an invite link a member sent you, sign in if needed, and accept any rules the tavern asks new members to agree to. Public taverns can also be joined from Discover.
Joining a tavernWhy can’t anyone hear me?
Check that you are not muted, that the right microphone is picked in the voice hall’s settings, and that your browser has microphone permission for tav.gg.
Voice troubleshootingHow do I change my Aether Name?
Your Aether Name is 3 to 20 letters, numbers or underscores. Your first custom change skips the cooldown; after that you can rename once every 30 days, and your old name keeps pointing to you for 30 days.
Aether NamesHow do I turn on two-factor authentication?
Scan the QR code with an authenticator app from a supported client and confirm a code. Save your 10 recovery codes somewhere safe: they are shown only once.
Two-factor authenticationHow do I report someone?
Use Report on the account, message or post, pick a reason, add details and keep the TVN reference ID you get. The team aims to review reports within 24 hours.
