Manage a Tavern, creator tools, and bots

Create a tavern from the add button in the app. The owner controls halls, categories, new-member rules, roles, and permissions.

• Roles and permissions. Give each role only the permissions it needs, then use hall-specific overrides for private staff or planning spaces.
• Invites. Where the current client exposes these controls, members with Create Invite permission can generate invite links and the permission can be scoped by hall.
• Vanity handle. Owners can claim an eligible short handle in tavern settings, giving the community a memorable invite address. Some names are reserved.

Use tavern settings to upload custom emoji and stickers. Static and animated formats are supported. Authorized managers can upload emoji in batches; stickers are added individually. Members can use those assets in messages and reactions.

Appearance settings support Tavern backgrounds, accent colors, fonts, and hall icons. The draft-and-publish flow lets the team review changes before members see them.

People can also customize their own profile backgrounds and display-name styling from user settings.

Browse and install available public bots from Tavern Settings, then Bots. An installed bot receives only the permissions granted during installation and can be removed from tavern settings.

The free Discord migration tool copies a Discord server’s name, icon and banner, channels and categories, roles and permissions, custom emoji, and supported stickers into a new tavern. Someone with Manage Server adds the bot, an administrator runs /migrate, and you check a preview before anything is created. Your Discord server is not changed, and messages and members do not move.
