For world creators

Build a Wonder your community can visit.

A Wonder can be a game, a hangout, a social space, or a world with its own rules. Wonders Studio gives approved desktop creators tools to build, test, publish, and keep improving it.

  • Build around a reason to visit
  • Playtest before publishing
  • Improve after launch

The experience layer

What is a Wonder?

A Wonder is a player-created experience on the Wonders of Aether platform. It can be competitive, cooperative, exploratory, social, or something that does not fit an existing genre.

The useful starting point is not map size or feature count. It is the reason another person would want to enter, stay, and return with a friend.

Start with one promise

Begin with a reason to visit

  • A game

Give players a clear challenge, role, rule set, or loop they can understand together.

  • A hangout

Create an atmosphere and social activity that makes spending time there feel intentional.

  • An adventure

Use place, movement, encounters, and discovery to pull people forward.

  • A community destination

Build around rituals, events, and stories the people around you already care about.

A real project foundation

Move from an idea into a playable project

New Wonder scaffolds can begin with generated island terrain, ocean, and a spawn point. From there, creators can shape scenes, bring in assets, test the experience, and prepare it for publishing.

Wonders Studio supports scene editing, asset tools, playtesting, publishing, and post-launch updates. It is focused creator tooling with a growing set of controls, not a claim of feature parity with mature commercial engines.

The creator loop

Build, playtest, publish, and iterate

  1. Build the smallest complete idea

Create one place and one reason for players to interact with it.

  2. Playtest the experience

Check whether the goal, movement, pacing, and social moments make sense in play.

  3. Publish deliberately

Prepare the Wonder package and release an experience people can enter.

  4. Learn from players

Use feedback and observed play to decide what the next update should improve.

People before terrain

Design for the community already gathering around you

A Tavern can hold design discussions, announcements, feedback, guides, events, and the community culture around a Wonder. A Tavern does not automatically link to one specific Wonder.

Wonders Studio is distributed separately to approved desktop creators and is not part of the Taverns mobile app. A Taverns account is the community starting point, while creator access follows a separate approval path.
